• Battery Checks - Battery care is extremely important for EV drivers, especially those who drive an EV with a lithium-ion pack. Even though EV batteries usually last 100,000 miles or more, routine battery checks are still recommended. 
• Brake Fluid Replacement - For safe driving, replace your brake fluid every 3-5 years. If the brake warning light flashes on your driver information cluster, you may need to replace the brake fluid sooner.
• Coolant System Maintenance - Many of the EVs on the road today are designed with special thermal management or cooling systems. These systems ensure proper battery function. Because service intervals can vary, we recommend seeing what the manufacturer says in your owner's manual. 
• Tire Rotation - Regardless of the type of vehicle you drive, tire care is extremely important. This is even more true for electric vehicles, as the added weight of the battery pack often leads to more rapid tire wear. Perform a tire rotation every 5,000 to 10,000 miles. 
• Wheel Alignment - Remember to also bring your vehicle in for a wheel alignment every 15,000 miles to protect the longevity of your tires. 
• Air Filter Replacement - Your vehicle is outfitted with an air filter to reduce pollen, road dust, dirt, and other harmful contaminants in your cabin. It will need to be replaced every 2-3 years. If you have a specialty air filter, you may be able to get up to 5 years out of it before you must replace it.
